I’m not claiming to be any sort of style expert, but like most women my age, I really enjoy fashion. I drool over the fabulous high-fashion spreads in magazines, appreciate designers as artists and the beauty in well-made clothing. And although I would love to afford the designer pieces I so admire, the reality is that I’m just a college student on a limited budget. Luckily, you don’t need to have the salary of a celebrity to look fierce. While fashion magazines display clothing completely out of the realm of affordability–even the “look for less” sections are still a bit pricey–I hope to offer a look at inexpensive, yet trendy clothing and accessories that won’t make you look cheap. Since I rarely take an item to the register if it exceeds $50 when I’m shopping, that is what I’ll display here; affordable, practical clothing and no one item over $50.
